The Charleston RiverDogs know nothing says “Charleston” quite like a seersucker suit, so the franchise’s players will rock seersucker uniforms (right) during every Sunday home game this season.
As you may already know, seersucker is a thin, puckered, all-cotton fabric used to make warm-weather clothing that is usually striped or checkered. Seersucker is woven in a way that makes some threads bunch together, keeping the fabric mostly off of the skin to keep the wearer cooler in the hotter months.
The team will debut the new uniforms on Sunday, April 13 and will wear them again on May 4, May 11, June 1, June 8, June 22, July 6, July 20, August 3 and August 17.
Tickets can be purchased at the Joe Riley Park Box Office at 843-577-DOGS (3647) or online.
