Yearning for warmer weather? You’re not alone! Thankfully, Mellow Mushroom in Avondale is hosting an event that will surely get you ready for the warmer months. The pizza restaurant is teaming up with the Carolina Surf Film Festival's parent company, Carolina Surf Brand, to present the “Avondale Surf & Ale Bash” on Saturday, February 21st at 9 pm.
During the event, the surfing documentaries Attractive Distractions and Uncharted Waters will both be shown. The former won the ware for Best Cinematography at the inaugural Carolina Surf Film Festival. A trailer for that film can be shown below.
The event will also include giveaways, the 2015 Nectar Sunglasses line, and discounts on Terrapin Beer and Peligroso cocktails. Proceeds from the drawings will benefit the Charleston Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation.
Of course, Mellow Mushroom's full bar and standard menu will be available during the event.
