The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) has answered the call! Earlier today, the group posted their version of "The Running Man Challenge," the Internet's latest video craze.
Back on May 27th, the Charleston County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) challenged the NCPD to create their own take on the popular trend that was made famous by two University of Maryland basketball players. "The Running Man Challenge" features people doing a variation of the 1980's dance move while "My Boo" by Ghost Town DJ's plays in the background.
Will the trend continue locally? It appears likely as the NCPD has already challenged the City of Charleston and Mount Pleasant Police Departments.
