Livability published its 5th annual ranking of the best places to live in America, and of course, the Holy City was included. Charleston checked in at No. 27 on the list, while Ann Arbor, MI took home the top honors.
Each year the website polls their readers to find out what matters most to them. Livability then takes that information and compares into to any data available to discover the best places to live.
This year, about 2,300 cities were ranked on more than 40 data points measuring economics, housing, amenities, infrastructure, demographics, social and civic capital, education, and health care.
Charleston was praised for its restaurants, live music venues, farmers markets, and proximity to numerous colleges. You can see the Holy CIty's entry here.
