ModelBride, a high-end bridal and specialty boutique previously located in New York and New Jersey, has opened its doors on King Street. The retail establishment is owned and operated by Lori Dunn, a former model who has spent her entire career in the New York City fashion industry. Her work has been featured in national magazines, catalogs, television and runway.
Dunn's expertise led her to successfully develop a business that combined her experience in the bridal, beauty, and fashion industry with brides-to-be to help them look their best from engagement to honeymoon. After helping hundreds of brides in the New York metro area, Dunn and her husband were ready for a change of pace and warmer weather. They have since relocated to Charleston.
