Jyve, a local tech company composed of C of C and CSU alum, launches a new app directed towards fans. In February 2017, Jyve launched a music booking tool that helps bars and restaurants find, book, and promote local live music. After a year and a half of gaining traction, the platform now has over 2,000 musicians and about 40 venues booking gigs in Charleston.
“We created the local music fan app so that Charleston residents and tourists have an easy way to discover which live acts and artists are playing where,” Will Bragunier, managing partner and director of marketing for Jyve, said. “The app has all the details to help people plan their night – including the details of the venue and samples of the artists’ music.
The Jyve: Local Music fan app, is available for free in the Apple App store and Google Play store.
“The app allows locals to be able to follow bands and venues, get notifications on when live music is happening in the city, and stay up-to-date on Charleston's vibrant music scene,” Jyve founder Brandon Brooks said.
