Holy City Brewing ventured to the 31st Great American Beer Festival in Colorado and came back a gold medal winner.
The brewery's Pluff Mud Porter beat all competitors in the Brown Porter category. The beer is available throughout the city, so be sure to give it a try the next time you see it! You can also visiting the brewery's tasting room six days a week to sample multiple brews!
Two events will be held this week to celebrate the first place finish. Closed for Business will hold a Celebration Pint Night on Thursday (10/18). Multiple HCB beers will be available starting at 5 pm. The gold medal winning Pluff Mud Porter will be $4 per pint during the event.
Then on Friday (10/19) the brewery will hold another Carnival Night from 4 pm to 8 pm. Hello My Name is BBQ, Sweeteeth Chocolates, EVO Craft Bakery, and King of Pops will all be in attendance with Pluff Mud Porter-inspired dishes. The Bluestone Ramblers will provide live music during the event.
