On last night’s episode of the Colbert Report, host Stephen Colbert “learned” that his sister was running for Congress. The schtick continued from there as Charleston’s favorite son “didn’t” give Elizabeth Colbert Busch any free airtime to aid her bid to win the SC-1 seat.
Stephen only broke from character slightly when he said Elizabeth was the “best candidate to represent my beloved Lowcountry in the United States Congress.”
