Both the King Street and Avondale Mellow Mushroom locations are currently offering limited-time, specialty pizzas. Normally, I wouldn't make a big deal out of something like this, but one of the pies boasts sriracha as one of the ingredients. As some of you know, I'm a sucker for all things red rooster.
That particular pizza will be at the downtown restaurant and is called the Red Rooster Quesadilla Pizza (left). It includes sriracha chicken, mozzarella, pico de gallo, cheddar, sour cream and cilantro. It will only be available until next Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Avondale location will feature a thin crust pizza with oil and garlic base, spinach, mushroom, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers and herb goat cheese. This selection is only available until April 9th.
