Hootie & the Blowfish's annual Homegrown Weekend is just two weeks away and although many people know about the band's back-to-back shows, few are aware of the event's free Family Day.
Understandably, Hootie's headlining gigs on both August 23rd and 24th has grabbed the headlines, but their Saturday afternoon gathering should be just as exciting. The Homegrown Family Day begins at 11 am and features live music, food vendors, "creation stations," freebies, a climbing wall, jump castles, a magician and much more.
The music line-up is as follows:
- 11 am: Caroline McLeod
- 11:30 am: Tyler Boone
- 12:15 pm: A Fragile Tomorrow
- 1:30 pm: Atlas Road Crew
- 2:45 pm: Adalya
Although the event is free, attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies to be donated to Charleston County Schools.
