Holy City Pizzeria Opens
Holy City Pizzeria, the winner of last night’s Charleston-based episode of Food Court Wars, is officially open for business in the Citadel Mall.
The new food joint beat out the Charleston Gourmet Burger Company in a competition that was filmed at the mall back in June. The pizzeria’s prize was a year’s worth of free rent at the food court.
Holy City Pizzeria owners Topher Pecora and Kacie Faulling had to keep quiet until their episode aired, but with that out of the way, the couple was finally able to open. According to their Facebook page, the couple will be serving hand-tossed pizzas, salads, pastas, and pastries.
