Twas the night before Cook It Raw's BBQ Perspectives...
The epic culinary event is upon us and no one is 100% sure of what to expect on Bowens Island tomorrow afternoon. After some slightly excessive Twitter and Instagram-stalking, here are some of the ingredients that may be featured at the event (it should be noted that some of these may have been on last night's menu and may not be present on Saturday):
- Greater Amberjack
- Pork (Specifically a Ossabaw Island Hog).
- Veal Pastrami from Josh Keeler of Two Boroughs Larder.
- Marsh Hen/Duck
- Rice including Carolina Gold Rice (maybe in pudding form?)
- Blue crab
- A variety of fish, rice, grains, greens, vegetables
- Senegal Peas
