About Cystic Fibrosis:
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects approximately 30,000 children and adults in the US. CF causes the body to produce abnormally thick, sticky mucus that clogs the lungs and can lead to life-threatening lung infections. CF also affects the pancreas, interfering with digestion. There is currently no cure for CF.
