This year’s First Flush FesTEAval, one of the Lowcountry’s more popular annual events, is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th at the Charleston Tea Plantation. Now in its 8th year, the event celebrates the beginning of the tea leaf harvest at America’s only tea plantation.
The festival usually features at least one high profile band and this year will be no different. According to their Twitter account, The Avett Brothers will be this year’s headlining act (FYI – The Charleston Tea Plantation’s account verified the announcement).
It was announced today that a collection of local bands will be sharing the stage with The Avett Brothers. The following groups are scheduled to perform:
- Stop Light Observations
- Luke Cunningham Band
- Atlas Road Crew

- The Executives
The fun begins at 1 pm.
