The Charleston RiverDogs will have a weekend promotion that will make fans of both the South Carolina Gamecocks and Clemson Tigers excited. The team just announced that former Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd and linebacker Quandon Christian, as well as former South Carolina wide receiver and point guard Bruce Ellington, will be at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park to meet fans.
Boyd and Christian are scheduled to appear at the stadium on Saturday, while Ellington will be in attendance on Sunday.
On their respective days, all three players will greet fans and pose for pictures adjacent to the Riley Park Press Box. The press box is located inside the stadium on the third base side. Boyd and Christian will be available from 5 pm - 5:45 pm on Saturday, while Ellington will out from 4 pm - 4:45 pm. The players will not sign autographs during these times.
Fans do have the chance to attend a 90-minute VIP meet-and-greet in a private location in the ballpark. VIP tickets are $40 each and include a ticket to the RiverDogs game that night, plus the opportunity for one autograph. Light refreshments will also be provided.
Fans must purchase tickets for the meet and greet over the phone by calling Michael DeAntonio from Charleston's front office at 843-723-7241 or in-person at the Riley Park Box Office. Meet and greet tickets are not available online.
All three players will be throwing out the first pitch on their respective nights.
