A viewer sent ABC News 4 a picture (right) of an alligator that was on Folly Beach today.
The network says the beast was 10-feet long and washed up on the shore around 3 pm.
Why did I say "was"? That's because DNR was called to the scene and shot and killed the gator. Believe it or not, that is actually standard procedure for these types of situations.
