Bittermilk Ready to Debut Mixer No. 4
Bittermilk, the local company that makes hand-crafted cocktail mixers, has unveiled that its fourth product will be the No. 4 New Orleans Style Old Fashioned Rouge.
The new mixer consists of botanicals found in French absinthe and spices used in bitters that are naturally pigmented with cochineal. The product is also aged in Willett Family Reserve rye whiskey barrels. The company says The Rouge is “perfect with one part No. 4 and four parts rye. Stir with ice and garnish with a lemon twist.”
Aside from the No. 4, Bittermilk also makes a Bourbon Barrel Aged Old-Fashioned mix, a Tom Collins with elderflowers and hops mix, and a Smoked Honey Whiskey Sour mix. The new product will be available on Sunday.
