A Charleston-based baker is asking for the community's financial help, so she can renovate a vintage pick-up truck and trailer to create the only mason jar mobile bakery in the city.
Karen Moran hopes her crowd-funding campaign through IndieGoGo will reach its $20,000 goal by July 26th and Sweet Lulu's Bakery on Wheels will become a reality. The company, which gets its name from Moran's 3-year-old dog, will donate a percentage of its profits to pet shelters.
As usual, any backers to the crowd-funding project will receive perks, many of which include Sweet Lulu's desserts. Offerings include cookies, cupcakes, puddings, cakes, and many more.
