Starting on Monday, the Charleston RiverDogs and Palmetto Goodwill will present "Goodwill Hunting" - and no, we're not talking about Matt Damon's break-out flick. This version is a tri-county scavenger hunt that runs through Sunday, August 10th at select Goodwill stores.
All participants will have the chance to win tickets to a RiverDogs home game and a shot at a daily prize pack. They must follow Palmetto Goodwill and the Charleston RiverDogs on Facebook in order to win.
Here's how it works: Scavenger hunt items will be placed in select Goodwill stores in Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston counties. Starting at 9 am on Monday, the Palmetto Goodwill and Charleston RiverDogs Facebook pages will give followers clues to help them locate each day’s Goodwill Hunting item.
Once fans find the item, they have to take a picture with their cell phone and show it at checkout. In return they will receive two tickets to a RiverDogs home game. The participant will be entered into a drawing for a prize pack if they also upload the photo to Facebook and tags Palmetto Goodwill and the RiverDogs.
Daily grand prizes include gift certificates to Joe Pasta, Triangle Char & Bar, McDonald’s, Brixx Pizza, Bootjack, Monster Music & Movies, Shem Creek Bar & Grill, CDs, and more.
