The inaugural South Carolina Reggae Jerk & Wine Festival is scheduled for this Sunday at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens from noon until 8 pm.
The event is a celebration of Jamaica Day in the Carolinas and will include live reggae music, wine, authentic Jamaican jerk dishes and other Caribbean food. Live entertainment includes the Dubplates, a Youth Performance Showcase, Carifest Dancers, a Sommelier Presentation, a Domino Tournament, a Jerk Cook-Off and more.
Proceeds will benefit the Healthy Lifestyle Network, an organization that supports women, children, and adolescents in Charleston and Jamaica.
