On Sunday. March 15th, numerous Charleston County Parks will host Customer Appreciation Day featuring no admission fees and bonus activities.
In addition to free admission, visitors can register for a chance to win a Gold Pass Membership.
The following parks are waiving admission fees:
- Ravenel Caw Caw Interpretive Center
- North Charleston Wannamaker
- Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands
- James Island
- Laurel Hill County Parks
The following will offer free parking:
- Kiawah Beachwalker Park
- Isle of Palms County Park
- Folly Beach County Park (free fishing on the Folly Beach Pier and the Mount Pleasant Pier)
These parks are offering the following bonus activities:
- James Island County Park
- Free shoe and harness rentals at The Climbing Wall
- Visit with emergency vehicles on site
- Marsh walks every hour, 11 am - 2 pm (departs from fishing dock)
- Free Short Circuit training from noon - 1 pm in the meadow area
- Wannamaker County Park
- Free climbs on the portable climbing wall
- Visits with emergency vehicles on site
- Interpretation table, 11 am - 2 pm
- Palmetto Islands County Park
- Free climbs on the portable climbing wall
- Visits with emergency vehicles on site
- Free Fairy Houses program from 11 am - 2 pm
- Free Short Circuit training from noon - 1 pm in the meadow area
