Charleston Represented on List of 2015 James Beard Award Finalists
Earlier today, the James Beard Foundation announced the finalists for their 2015 award categories and Charleston saw some familiar names make the cut.
Chef Sean Brock (Husk) is once again a nominee for Outstanding Chef, but is also a finalist in the Best American Cookbook category for Heritage (right).
Chef Jason Stanhope of FIG moved onto in the Best Chef: Southeast category, while his restaurant joins McCrady’s, one of Brock’s other restaurants, as finalists in the Outstanding Wine Program category.
Charleston resident Nathalie Dupree, a cookbook author and television personality, was nominated in the “Who’s Who of Food & Beverage in America” category.
