The City of North Charleston announced that "Rockin’ the River," a monthly concert series at Riverfront Park, will make its debut on Thursday, June 4th at 6:30 pm.
The initial event will feature beach music from The Tams. The schedule will continue as follows:
- Thursday, July 2 - Sgt. Submarine
- Thursday, August 6 - Bootless
- Thursday, September 3 - Plane Jane
Each event will include food trucks and a beer and wine garden. There is no charge for admission or parking. Gates open at 5:30 pm.
The series should give the city a few "concert test runs" at Riverfront Park before October's "Be More Tea Festival."
