Earlier today, Social Restaurant + Wine Bar announced that it will close its doors for good on Saturday, July 25th.
The establishment opened in 2007 and quickly became known for its 4,000 bottle wine cellar. It also won Wine Spectator’s “Best of Award of Excellence” for the past four years.
To thank local customers, the bar will have a special wine list with discounted bottles and wines by the glass through Saturday.
In addition, wine lovers can purchase a “Wine Surprise” box for $75. Each box will include three bottles of wine from Social’s cellar and will have a retail value ranging from $75-$175. One lucky patron will take home a box worth $250.
Poogan’s Hospitality Group, operators of Poogan’s Porch, plan to reopen the space with a new concept. Details on that project will be announced at a later date.
