The Ballpark Festival of Beers Returns this Saturday
There are few boozy events in the Holy City more popular than the Ballpark Festival of Beers, so it should be no surprise that the event is back for its 13th straight year.
The festival will be held at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on Saturday, August 15th from 7 pm to 10 pm. It will feature live music from The Blue Plantation Band and Midnight City, food trucks, corn hole, beer shakes, and beer samplings. The first 2,500 people through the gates will get a complimentary sampling glass.
There are supposed to be over 100 different types of American and International ales, stouts, lagers, pilsners, and specialty brews! You can see the full list here!
Plus, food will be available from Kickin’ Chicken, Zombie Bob’s Pizza, Cast Iron, Low Country Creole, Roti Rolls, Sweet Lu Lu’s, and King of Pops.
Designated driver wristbands and taxi services will be available to make sure you get home safe.
Tickets are available online, at area Kickin’ Chicken locations, or at the RiverDogs Box Office. VIP ticket options are also available. Sorry kids, this is a 21 and over event only.
