Take Steps For Crohn’s & Colitis on 11/1
On Sunday, November 1st, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America’s Carolinas Chapter (CCFA) will host its annual Take Steps fundraising walk and celebration at James Island County Park.
Take Steps is the nation’s largest event dedicated to finding a cure for digestive diseases that effect 1.6 million Americans. It’s a family-friendly walk and fundraising event that collects money to help those suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). Specifically, any money raised will aid CCFA’s research, support, and educational programs for patients, as well as Camp Oasis, a summer camp for children battling IBD.
Participants will enjoy a one-mile walk through James Island County Park, followed by entertainment, food, fundraising incentives, and more.
