Today, the James Beard Foundation announced the finalists for their 2016 award categories and Charleston saw a couple familiar names make the cut.
FIG was the lone entity from the Holy City to be named a finalist. For the third straight year, the downtown restaurant is up for the Outstanding Wine Program award.
Chef Sean Brock was once again chosen as a finalist for Outstanding Chef, but his selection was for Husk in Nashville.
The winners will be revealed on Monday, May 2nd.
