On both Saturday, May 21st and Sunday, May 22nd, Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will host an 1,100 square foot, mobile exhibit that honors the more than 3,000 victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The exhibit is free to tour and will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on both days.
The mobile exhibit will arrive at Patriots Point on Friday, May 20th after a procession from North Charleston City Hall. Starting at 10:30 am, a group of local first responders will lead the exhibit to Mount Pleasant. They will travel over a fireboat fountain display while crossing the Ravenel Bridge. A public ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm that day.
The 9/11 "Never Forget" exhibit features interactive education, artifacts, documentary videos, recordings of first responder radio transmissions, and live tours. Watch the video below for more.
