From Friday, October 14th through Sunday, October 16th, The Charleston Friends of the Library will “That BIG Book Sale” to raise funds for the Charleston County Public Library. The event will once again be held at the Omar Shrine Auditorium in Mount Pleasant.
The 35th annual event will feature over 60,000 books, DVDs, CDs, books on CDs, sheet music, and maps for sale. Prices start at just $.50!
Here is this year’s schedule:
- Friday: 9 am – 7 pm
- Saturday: 9 am – 5 pm
- Sunday: 10 am – 3 pm
- Items will be half price on Sunday, with the exception of tote bags
Friends of the Library members will be able to shop on Thursday evening from 5 pm – 8 pm. You can become a member of the Friends of the Library for $20 at the door.
The Friends of the Library is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to assisting the county library by providing annual funding for more than 6,000 community programs and classes.
