From now through the end of the year, SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar will be partnering with local charity organization East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) to raise money through the restaurant’s Kitchen Karma program. ECCO strives to eliminate poverty in the East Cooper region by offering basic needs, health services and empowerment programs. The funds raised through Kitchen Karma will help ECCO to provide local families with emergency support for food, clothing, and financial assistance, along with ongoing  access to dental care, medical care and educational opportunities. Through its Kitchen Karma program, SOL partners with a local charity organization for a period of about six to eight weeks, and donates $1 from every featured Kitchen Karma menu item sold in that time period to the partnering charity.
