13th Annual Shem Creek Mardi Crawl Goes Down on 2/25
On Saturday, February 25th, The Lowcountry Parrot Head Club will host their 13th Annual Mardi Crawl on Shem Creek. The event will once again support numerous charities.
Registration and check-in starts at noon at Red’s Ice House, The Shelter Kitchen & Bar, and Vickery’s. The crawl begins at 1 pm and includes food/drink specials, interactive games, and live entertainment. Attendees can travel by foot, complimentary shuttle, and/or water taxi.
After the crawl, attendees are invited to Red’s for live music featuring Dave Landeo and Three Sheets Island Band.

Proceeds from the crawl will benefit various Lowcountry charities including the Alzheimer’s Association of South Carolina, Pet Helpers, and more. Over the past 11 years, the event has raised more than $115,000 for local charities.
Admission is $25 if purchased in advance here. Otherwise you can buy tickets for $30 at the event. Registration includes an event t-shirt and a commemorative koozie. For an additional $10, pre-registered attendees have the option of replacing their short sleeve commemorative t-shirt with a long sleeve t-shirt. This option is only available to those who pre-register before Saturday, February 11th.
This year, the Quality Inn & Suites at Patriot’s Point is offering a discounted room rate for Mardi Crawl attendees. To book your stay, visit call 843-856-8817 and mention “Mardi Crawl.” A shuttle service will be available for those who opt to stay at the hotel.
