On Saturday, March 25th, local charity Water Missions International will host their annual "Walk For Water" in downtown Charleston. Opening ceremonies start at 9 am.
Participants will gather in at Brittlebank Park to walk 3.5 miles for those that trek that many miles every day to get water. Everyone at the event will rally together to give hope to those who lack access to safe water.
Water Mission International is a "nonprofit Christian engineering organization providing sustainable safe water and sanitation solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas."
