Charleston-based writer and comedian Hunter Gardner is bringing his one-man show "Drinking With Jesus" back to the Holy City on Saturday, March 11th. The performance will be at Theatre 99 starting at 10 pm.
Inspired by a true story, the one-hour show is told through a series of character monologues from both the church world and the party world, ultimately asking “How do we find a balance between our virtues and our vices when we’ve gone to the edge of both of those worlds?”
Gardner developed "Drinking With Jesus" with Henry Riggs (one-half of Charleston’s Nameless
Numberhead) for a little over a year - with additional direction from Andy Livengood ("The Christmas Will Be Televised").
Theatre 99 is located at 280 Meeting Street. Tickets are $10 and available online or at the door.
