Provided The Charleston Parks Conservancy is commemorating a decade of connecting people to their parks and creating stunning public spaces throughout the city. To celebrate, the organization has invited the community to a 10th Birthday Bash on Saturday, March 25 th at Colonial Lake. The party will run from 11 am to 1 pm and will include:
Plus, a new large oak tree will be planted to replace one lost during Hurricane Matthew. The tree will likely be planted prior to the event near the intersection of Broad Street and Rutledge Avenue.
Attendees can bring a blanket and spread out on the grass for a picnic lunch. In addition, dogs are welcome!
