Land O’Lakes Donates 40,000 Pounds of Mac & Cheese to Lowcountry Food Bank
If mac & cheese is a comfort food, then A TON of comfort was delivered to the Lowcountry Food Bank today. Well, technically, it was 20 tons. Land O’Lakes, Inc. today donated 40,000 pounds of LAND O LAKES Macaroni & Cheese to Lowcountry Food Bank.
The company’s First Run Program has made over one hundred donations since it was established in 2010. The program is committed to donating truckloads of fresh product to help alleviate hunger nationwide.
“We are extremely grateful to Land O’ Lakes for their generous donation,” Pat Walker, President and CEO of the Lowcountry Food Bank, said. “With this donation, the Lowcountry Food Bank will be able to reach thousands of our neighbors in need.”
