Participating schools are encouraged to have their students submit recipes, drawings, artwork, or stories showcasing the popular fruit.
The Overall Winner receives a Grand Prize of 50 pounds of local strawberries, strawberry pops from King of Pops for a celebratory party, a special trophy to display at school, and an announcement on Limehouse Produce’s website. Every school that submits an entry will receive 10 lbs. of strawberries. The Charleston County Library Main Branch will have a special display showcasing some of the items in May.
