On Saturday, April 8th, the Charlestown Sounds Music Festival will serve as a celebration of Charleston's musical identity and diversity. The concert kicks off at 6 pm inside the Music Farm.
Six groups of local musicians from different genres will come together on the stage to celebrate local music, community, and collaboration. Performers include the College of Charleston Gospel Choir, Anfernee, Diaspoura, Contour, the Night Caps and a new-school hip hop collaboration featuring Man-Child, Abstract, and Speakerbox.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local groups like the Ebony City Soccer Club, JYVE, East Side Soul Food, Soccer Connects, Soul Power, and CharlestonGOOD.
Food vendors will be set up outside the venue, while a selection of beverages will be available for purchase inside.
