Miwako (Mimi) Striplin of The Tiny Tassel & Liz Martin of The Charleston Weekender have partnered to bring a balloon and gift shop, Cannonborough Collective, to the peninsula.
The shop, which is set to open at any moment at 185A St. Philip Street, will offer a shared space that allows local brands to rent space to sell their merchandise. Product offerings will range from garments to art, and the first round of brands will include:
- Park & Madison
- Oysters All Around
- The Blue Root
- Borough
- South of Libbie
- Lime & Lotus Organics
- Revival 5 Creative
- Fete De Fleurs
To celebrate the grand opening, the business will give out a free balloon with any purchase all week. They will also host a Derby Day Party from 11 am to 6pm on Saturday, May 6th. Guests are encouraged to wear big hats and come enjoy mint juleps. Food will be available for purchase.
