Multi-instrumentalist Herbie Hancock will perform at the Gaillard Center on Wednesday, October 18th at 7:30 pm.
Now in his sixth decade of performing, Hancock shows no signs of slowing down. The legendary pianist and composer first gained notoriety as a member of the Miles Davis Quintet before moving on to successful solo career that includes an Academy Award and several Grammy Awards. In 2016, Hancock was given the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Hancock is best know for compositions and singles like "Cantaloupe Island," "Watermelon Man," "Maiden Voyage," "Chameleon," "I Thought It Was You," and "Rockit."
