Ballpark Festival of Beers Returns to The Joe on 8/26

There are few boozy events in the Holy City more popular than the Ballpark Festival of Beers, so it should be no surprise that the event is back for its 15th straight year.

The festival will be held at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on Saturday, August 26th from 7 pm to 10 pm (VIP entry starts at 6 pm). It will feature beer samplings, live music from The Blue Plantation Band and Midnight City, food trucks (The Kickin' Chicken, BKed, Roadside Seafood, Koa Bowls, and more), games, vendors, a cigar lounge, and more. The first 2,500 people through the gates will get a complimentary sampling glass.

There are supposed to be over 100 different types of foreign and domestic beers and specialty brews for you to choose from! Don't worry, designated driver wristbands and taxi services will be available to make sure you get home safe.

Tickets are available online, at area Kickin' Chicken locations, or at the RiverDogs Box Office. VIP ticket options are also available. Sorry kids, this is a 21 and over event only.

Participating vendors including Nectar Sunglasses, Grit Box Fitness, Drifter Merch, Urban Izzy, InTown, Harbor Entrepreneur Center, Hoover Mitsubishi, and more. Charleston Fun Factory will be on site with the popular mechanical bull, Towne Centre Tobacco will feature a cigar lounge and Charleston Henna will be on hand with a body art booth.
