On Thursday, August 31st, Whole Foods in Mount Pleasant will donate 5% of the day’s net sales to The Green Heart Project, a non-profit organization that builds school gardens and farm-to-school programs in the Charleston area.
Whole Foods Market will be open from 8 am to 9 pm for the event, and ALL purchases will earn a donation for the nonprofit.
This event is in conjunction with the Green Heart Project’s Back To School fundraising campaign, to raise money in support of their recent expansion into 9 schools (up from 5), and doubling their garden education programming that will reach over 2,500 students this year.
Whole Foods Market is located at 923 Houston Northcutt Blvd.
