Charleston Hospitality Group will Give One Turkey to The Lowcountry Food Bank for Every One Sold at Queology or HonkyTonk Saloon Restaurants

In an ongoing effort to address the staggering hunger issues in coastal South Carolina, Charleston Hospitality Group (CHG) is partnering with The Lowcountry Food Bank this Thanksgiving to ensure that as many people as possible have a turkey to share on this day of gratitude and giving.

“We have selected to partner with The Lowcountry Food Bank due to their prolific outreach to a network of 295 feeding agencies including soup kitchens, homeless shelters and food pantries and their distribution of over 26 million pounds of food to those in need in 2017 alone,” says Charleston Hospitality Group CEO Sam Mustafa.  “It is our wish that no one goes hungry on Thanksgiving or ever and the Lowcountry Food Bank and their network strive to achieve that goal daily.”

CHG is donating a fresh turkey to The Lowcountry Food Bank for every single smoked or fried turkey (up to 50) sold for Thanksgiving at its Queology or HonkyTonk Saloon restaurants. The 14-pound turkeys are $53 each and can be ordered for pick-up or delivery preceding and throughout Thanksgiving Day. The turkeys can easily be ordered for delivery by visiting Lowcountrydelivery.com. A selection of sides is available to round out the Thanksgiving table. Details for ordering and delivery can also be made by calling participating restaurants.  Queology’s phone number is 843-580-2244 and HonkyTonk Saloon’s is 843-569-6000.

When making your turkey selection this year, keep in mind that every delicious smoked or fried turkey from CHG's kitchens goes to feeding many more, thanks to the combined efforts of CHG and the Lowcountry Food Bank. Happy Thanksgiving!
