On Saturday, December 2nd, the weekend of Garden & Gun's Annual Jubilee, the magazine will kick off their "5 Nights in NOLA" event series at The Cedar Room in The Cigar Factory. The Dinner and a Show celebration of the Crescent City starts at 7 pm.
The Charleston event features Garden & Gun contributing editor and New Orleanian Julia Reed, 2016 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: South Justin Devillier of La Petite Grocery and Balise, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The festive fete celebrating 300 years of the Crescent City begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a multi-course meal, and concludes with dessert and dancing.
"5 Nights in NOLA" is an event series running from December 2017 to May 2018 that celebrates the city of New Orleans’ Tricentennial. After the Holy City, the celebratory tour rolls on to Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, and Washington D.C.
