The Cooper River Bridge Run (CRBR) is teaming up with the City of Charleston to host the Charleston Health & Wellness Expo on Wednesday, January 10 and Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 10 am – 7 pm at the Gaillard Center. This is a free two-day that promotes health and wellness to the entire community.
Representatives from MUSC and other facilities will provide free programs, health services, and information on a variety of topics to attendees. Some of the programs include cooking lessons and dieting demos, exercise guidance, weight management, oral health for all ages, a sleep center, and massages. There will be flu shots and health tests and services including BMI, glucose, blood pressure, bone density, digestive/gastro/bariatric, sleep and anxiety, and cancer prevention and screenings. Plus, attendees will be able to learn all they need to know about colonoscopies and Crohn’s disease, pancreatic cancer, incontinence and esophageal diseases.
