The inaugural Charleston Sol-Food Veg Fest will be held on Saturday, April 28th from 10 am to 6 pm in The Grove at Patriots Point. The event includes live music, interactive workshops, lectures, kids activities, and a food court.
According to the event’s website, attendees will “enjoy a mind, body and SOL rejuvenation filled with cultural and contemporary entertainment, education and enlightenment. Through the vegan experience (we) will create an exhilarating and enjoyable atmosphere for all ages.”
The festival is expected to include:

- Workshops and displays about health including yoga, exercise, massage therapy, meditation cooking demos, and more
- A diverse selection of an all plant base 100% vegan cuisine
