Evening Post Books recently published Stand Forever, Yielding Never, an extensive cover of The Citadel’s history by alumni John Warley. The publication is being released in conjunction with The Citadel’s 175th Anniversary.
The Charleston Library Society will host a launch event for the book on Monday, April 23rd at 6 pm. Warley will be presenting a brief author talk and autographing books, which will be for sale at the event. The event is free to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

Warley is a graduate of The Citadel and the University of Virginia School of Law. He is the author of three novels, the most recent being A Southern Girl. He is the author of The Citadel War Memorial’s welcoming inscription and of “The Citadel at War,” a narrative history etched into the Memorial’s walls. He lives and writes in Beaufort.
