Property Developer Announces Third Building on Daniel Island

S.L. Shaw & Associates, a general contractor and commercial property developer serving Louisiana and South Carolina, recently announced that it has begun development of 297 Seven Farms Drive, a three-story, Class A retail and commercial property on Daniel Island. Land is being cleared on the site and construction is set to begin in late spring, with expected completion in late 2019.

297 Seven Farms Drive will offer 27,000-square-feet of space on three stories. The first floor is designed for either retail or office use while the top two floors will be developed as office space. While S.L. Shaw will build out space to meet the specific needs of tenants, the final layout will likely allow for 8-12 tenants total, 3-4 businesses per floor.

Near the corner of Seven Farms Drive and Daniel Island Drive, 297 Seven Farms Drive is centrally located in Daniel Island, near shops and restaurants. It is also less than a mile from the ramps for Interstate 526, allowing easy access to downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, North Charleston and Charleston International Airport.

One of the key components of S.L. Shaw’s development strategy for its properties on Daniel Island is that they develop the property to meet the specific needs of tenants. They build out the site at no additional cost to tenants and will meet the unique needs of clients, including those in the medical services industry.

S.L. Shaw has constructed two other office buildings on Daniel Island: 125 River Landing Drive, a two-story 12,000-square-foot Class A office and retail building which opened in 2015; and “Daniel’s Corner,” a three-story 18,000-square-foot, multi-use Class A building on the corner of River Landing Drive and Daniel’s Landing Drive, featuring retail and office space on the first level, office space on the second level, and two upscale residential units on the third floor, set to open later in 2018. Both properties, like 297 Seven Farms Drive, offer top-of-the line finishes, Charleston-inspired accents such as a brick floors and gas lanterns and “boutique” style décor.
