Garden & Gun (G&G), in collaboration with Volvo Car USA, recently announced that tickets for the magazine’s Made in the South Weekend (November 9–10) in Charleston are now available for purchase. The event salutes Southern craftsmanship and recognizes the winners of G&G's ninth annual Made in the South Awards spanning six categories: Food, Drink, Home, Style, Crafts, and Outdoors.
“Our team could not be more excited to celebrate the winners of our ninth annual awards with our readers this November,” David DiBenedetto, senior vice president and editor in chief of Garden & Gun, said. “The weekend gives us the opportunity to bring them together, and to applaud the remarkable talent and creativity of artisans, craftsmen, chefs, designers, and tastemakers from across the South.”
The weekend kicks off on Friday, November 9th, with a musical performance by Nashville artists Amanda Shires and Aaron Lee Tasjan, and continues on Saturday, November 10th, when ticket holders gain access to the G&G headquarters at the Cigar Factory. The space will host a series of “Meet the Maker Conversations” with G&G editors, MITSA judges, and artisans, along with a Made in the South Marketplace featuring a first look at award-winning products from category finalists and a curated retail experience from Fieldshop by Garden & Gun.
The weekend concludes with a celebratory dinner at Charleston's historic Aiken-Rhett House featuring a globally-inspired meal prepared by acclaimed chef Asha Gomez and cocktails created by mixologist Miles Macquarrie – both participating judges in this year’s awards.

About Garden & Gun's Annual Made in the South Awards
