The Gibbes Museum of Art announced that Eva Chen, head of fashion partnerships at Instagram, will be the featured speaker for the annual “Art of Design” luncheon on April 12th.
Since 2011, the Women's Council has attracted renowned experts in the world of design to the special luncheon and lecture. This year, Chen will discuss her work in the fashion and media industry in the museum's classically landscaped Lenhardt Garden.
“Known as the Anna Wintour of the Digital Age, we are delighted to host such a special guest at the annual luncheon,” Angela Mack, The Gibbes Museum of Art's executive director, said. “Her iconic style, charm and diverse background is sure to inspire this year's guests.”

Over the past nine years, through its annual Art of Design Luncheon and Lecture, the Women's Council secured more than $50,000 per year to support exhibitions and educational programming. Past “Art of Design” speakers include HGTV Designer Vern Yip, Downton Abbey jewelry designer Andrew Price, New York Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn, interior designer Charlotte Moss, lifestyle expert Carolyne Roehm, and Vogue's International Editor-at-Large Hamish Bowles.
