Trio, the downtown dance club and lounge has a new owner, a million-dollar renovation, and a lineup of internationally-recognized DJs, all set to be unveiled over the club’s Grand Opening weekend – March 22nd and 23rd.
When asked what guests can expect of the revamped space, owner Eric Gussin said there would be “live music at all times – sultry instrumentals, full bands, open format DJs – personalized service, and upscale décor throughout.”
Gussin said renovations include a technologically-advanced light and video production system, and a full DAS sound system upstairs. The downstairs space features an entertainment stage, a large custom bar top, chandeliers, and modern décor. Plus, the outside patio was re-designed.
Trio will open its doors on the night of Friday, March 22nd for a Grand Opening Party, and then again on Saturday, March 23rd. Both celebrations begin at 7 pm at Trio, are open to the public, and will include Elephante, DJ Mister Gray, The Midnight City, and Seth G.
Trio is located at 139 Calhoun Street, and will have lounge/patio hours of Wednesday through Saturday, 7 pm until 2 am and club hours of Friday and Saturday, 10 pm until 2 am.
